You may be familiar with the difference between the meaning of the words read and reread. Did you know that the reason the words have different meanings lies in the first two letters, re-? In this experience, you will learn more about reading, spelling, and understanding words that have word parts called prefixes and suffixes.

Think of a word that describes something. That word is called an adjective. Now try to add a few letters to the beginning of the word to make it mean the opposite. Need a hint? Look at the picture.
