A simple definition of globalization is “an interconnected world.” The concept of globalization is much more complex. It is most often associated with the economy, but there are also social, ecological, cultural, and health aspects to globalization.
Globalization is not new to this century. Name an example of globalization from earlier periods in world history. Hint: Think about key topics you have covered in your history courses.
