Objective:

  • Identify and describe historical figures who shaped the Revolutionary era.


Many people helped shape the course of the Revolutionary era. They may have influenced which battles were won or lost. They may have created laws, started political movements, or even changed how people thought. Throughout the lessons in this unit, you have been introduced to just a few of the key figures from the Revolution.

In this experience, you will review and discover important figures from the American Revolution. Then, you will choose one person to explore further and research essential facts about that person. Finally, you’ll use what you’ve learned to complete one of two writing projects: a eulogy of that person, or a scene from a movie or play about that person’s life.

Objective:

  • Identify and describe historical figures who shaped the Revolutionary era.
